This piece was inspired by the weight of grief, I experienced after losing my Grandmother. This painting represented me taking back control of my joy and my heart. No longer allowing grief to steer me and cloud my lens. The heart is delicate and sometimes when we allow other things to control it, it could lead us down a dark pathway. But when we reclaim control, we can steer our hearts and minds to the right place.
